VAMDRAMB
Shows

Past, Present and Future Shows.
The main event of VAMDRAMB is Show day. The culmination off weeks and weeks of rehearsals. The show will normally be put on, on a Friday or Saturday evening, depending on venue availability. The cast and crew will arrive roughly an hour before, where it will be all hands on deck, to get things ready for the performance. This will be getting sets, scenery and props ready, along with setting up the seating plan, and all the other front of house. Tech team will get the lighting and sound set up and tested, whilst the cast will get into costume, and prepare any other costume changes that are needed. Roughly half an hour before the show, doors will open and the audience will arrive and be seated. It will be last minute checks and run throughs for cast and crew before Show Time. The show will open with a short welcome from the direct as well as some information from the charity. We will then perform the show, normally with a short interval about half way through. At the end of the show, we will take our well deserved bows, thank the audience and have a quick break, before coming out for any photos, meet and greets or the all important raffle. Once this is done, cast and crew are welcome to mingle with friends and family for a while before packing down and putting everything straight.
Upcoming Show
Panto Town is Falling Down
The next show to be performed is ' Panto Town is Falling Down.' This Panto is the first ever show performed by VAMDRAMB and was specifically written for this purpose. Yes, we know Panto's are normally performed at Christmas, but this is VAMDRAMB.... nothing is normal here.
Following in the footsteps of all good Panto's, we have songs, custard pies, dances, custard pies, jokes, custard pies, baddies and did we mention maybe some custard pies. Join us in Panto Town, where Damey, Protan and the rest of the township struggle and strive to regain control of Panto Town from Lady Panto and her evil gang of villains and evildoers. Can Damey and Protan not only convince people to help them, but help them in time and rebuild Panto Town before it is gone for good. Be prepared for some 'top quality' dad jokes, some traditional pantomime villainess and some familiar songs that the script writer may have spent far too much time trying to parody!! Audience interaction is encouraged, but beware there are custard pies at the ready for the loudest of hecklers!! This is a family friendly original Panto with a run time of approximately 2 hours with an interval.
